What will change and why?

How Workspace Health worked before

Workspace Health was designed with two different goals in mind:

  1. Make all teams regularly talk and reflect about certain items in their retros
  2. Gather workspace-wide data on certain items at fixed intervals to monitor the health of your organization as a whole

This made the feature complex and its behavior hard to predict. The way that the second goal was achieved also interfered with the autonomy of teams to plan their own retros.

How Workspace Health works now

Therefore, we redesigned the functionality around each goal individually:

Teams that are excluded from the Workspace Health will be excluded from both the Workspace Health Rotation and the Pulse Checks.

Please let us know if you have a use case that requires teams to be included in one but not the other!
