Echometer supports SSO integration with customer-provided Identity Providers (IDPs) via the SAML protocol.
To set it up, follow the steps below. You will need to be a workspace admin in Echometer, and be able to configure new apps in your IDP.
- Make sure your workspace is on the “Business” or “Enterprise” plan. Free and Pro plans do not have access to SSO.
- In Echometer, go to “Workspace Settings” → “Integrations”
- Configure Echometer as an app in your IDP with the values shown under “Identity Provider Configuration” in Echometer. This process will differ for each IDP, consult the documentation of yours if in doubt.
- Configure your IDP in Echometer:
- Copy the IDP metadata XML your IDP gives you and paste it into the “Identity Provider Configuration” field in Echometer
- Click on “Validate IDP Config” to check the validity of the XML
- Click “Authenticate with IDP” to connect your own Echometer account with your IDP account
- (Optional) Enable SSO-Enforcement for the workspace with the toggle below.
