Go to Settings → Applications:
Log in again with your Admin credentials, if prompted
Go to Integrations → Application links on the left hand side:
(On Jira Data Center v9 and higher) Click on “Create link” in the top right, then select “Atlassian product” and enter https://my.echometerapp.com as the Application URL and click “Continue”:
(Only on Jira Data Center before v9) Enter https://my.echometerapp.com as the Application URL and click on "Create new link":
If you get a warning that "no response was received", you can ignore that and click on "Continue" without changing the URL:
On the next page, enter "Echometer" as the Application Name and check "Create incoming link". We don't care about the outgoing link, so you can leave all other fields empty:
You now need to enter the Consumer Key and Public Key that Echometer shows you in the integration settings (the page you came here from, probably). The "Consumer Name" is what will be displayed to a user wishing to authorize Echometer to use their Jira Account. You're free to choose anything here, just make sure users will know that it's Echometer making the request. We recommend just going with "Echometer". Click on "Continue" once you're done.
Done! Echometer should now be able to talk to your Jira instance. Your users can now individually connect their Echometer accounts with their Jira accounts and create Jira issues directly from action items inside of Echometer.
