If you see connection warnings during your Echometer retro, make sure that websockets connecting to my.echometerapp.com are not blocked. Try disabling any adblockers or proxy software you are using. If that doesn’t help, your company’s IT or network department should be able to help you with this.

Websockets are a technology that enables Echometer to receive and display updates on what’s happening in the retro in real time. They are necessary for retros in Echometer to work correctly.
Sometimes, these websockets can be blocked by very restrictive firewall rules, proxies or adblockers that sit between you and the internet.
